Thanks champ.. I was trying to refrain from posting a comment, especially when your car gets keyed for no reason (and you are mega pissed) and then you see such a stupid comment..

But yeah, it is scratched in the clear coat.. So I am not sure if you can rub back and try to put new clear over the top..

I don't do things to piss people off.. The car isn't hooned, I don't throw parties, and do sh*t all here.. So if I am doing something wrong, I'd like to know what it is..

Why not write a note, or try to address an issue first.. There is no excuse to key someone's car for the sake of it.. I have been parked there before, and found random bits of rubbish on the car a couple of times.. But, I never dumped rubbish anywhere.. So some people are just haters for no f**king reason..

Was it insured? If it doesnt come out, it can be repaired, painted and fitted to someone elses car (I know you want CF). Maybe that would go some ways to getting you an unscarred one. I know thats not the point (I do feel your pain believe me), but looking forward, its an option.

Yeah full comp insured.. But given the amount of vehicles I have insured, I don't want them to hike up the price of them all for an "at fault accident" claim..

If I did look at painting, I would have to keep it .. Don't want to have to buy a third carbon fibre bonnet..

Man that sux! I feel your pain rock_it. My car used to get egg most Saturday and Friday nights and once bottled before DIY day! As a result I have three dimples on my driver side door egg shell paint chips throughout my car and a line on my bonnet where the egg yoke harden/baked and stripped the clearcoat off!

I've thought about camping in my car with a baseball bat and emu eggs in my car! Lol but down the road there was a falcon who got bricked! So lucky I was only copping eggs!
