I love this thing:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... lpreviews/

Cool previews, lets you scroll over a link and it shows you what's on that page. So if I went to say Gibberish corner, by mousing over a topic, it'll open a mini window which lets me see and scroll around and read the text without leaving the page i'm in. Awesome :D

Also look for "BetterPrivacy", read the info cbf explaining lol, I didn't even know abt what it protected from until I looked at it.

Funny think is, I am an IT geek, but cant be stuffed installing something else, so I tend to use IE as well. Guess that says something as well.

5 minutes on a 14.4k modem connection

I reformatted, it was a 3Mb dl and took me 30 secs to install.

Firefox is great cos of all the add-ons, increased safety, blocks scripts and ads without hassle and a lot of stuff like page previews before clicking on link, built in ability in the browser to copy any media / flash off a page you're viewing with a single click of a button instead etc, makes it easier and quicker by a heap.
Don't even know what you're missing out on until you switch :p

Actually, using Firefox is like using an FTO. Using IE is like using a wheelbarrow - Or worse yet.. a GS *gasp*

IE is more like a commodore.
You don't know what will fail first, but it's bound to be an expensive job to fix.

Meanwhile, I use NoScript with Firefox. Fiddly as hell (good if you know what you're doing) and works real well.

yeah 5 minutes to install, but then quite a bit longer to configure and learn how to use (old habits die hard). To make it more of a hassle, because federal govt departments are pretty much exclusively IE (and thats who I develop software for), I need to use it for work anyway. So yep, too much of a hassle...
