Played for a few hours last night...

first off,

took ages to download to the HDD...

then took over half an hour to install...
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

loading times can be frustratingly long...

go-karts are interesting

game is very well polished... beautiful cars, beautiful tracks

no FTO straight out of the box :'(

certain cars you cant buy till your driver 'level' has increased, even if you have the money for it

certain race modes require different driving, ie no cutting corners, no crashing, but thats not for all the races (TOP GEAR test track for example... you got 2 laps, you start last (12th) and your driving Combi's!)

cars can be modified pretty well

i bought a 07 swift sport as my first car... but used my 6 stealth cars (signature edition only) to demolish my opponants

second hand cars offer some great cars you cant buy from dealerships (i just bought a holden monaro)

online racing is fun, though you still get annoying people who just ram you off the road, though vindication is GREAT!

definatly a must own, 10/10

Yeah i have to agree awesome game even when you do burnouts it looks very realistic lol.I like the amg driver training in the special events section where in the beginer section you drive the 54 300sl gullwing round the nurburgring, you do small sections of the track but the end test you have to do the whole lap managed to get a silver in that one. After a few races when you go to the used car lot you can get the fto gr,you cant modify the exterior but you can change the colour, when it comes to tuning it you can give it a max 350hp with a turbo lol. Also the sound is realistic too but i am yet to get the gpx or gpvr.

8/10 (standard cars have slightly better graphics compared to gt4)

Been playing it for 3 days or so...controller racing is teh sux0rz.

Not too bad, but i had a lot more fun playing forza 3. The tuning aspect could be done better and where are my brake upgrades! :x

The varied races are kinda annoying where you have to keep an eye out to buy certain cars for races.

Yeah i like the practicality of it, easy to pack up after you finish and not have a shitload of cables and gear hanging around everywhere.

I have that setup on my desk with the same wheel, shifter and pedals. It's goooood but not worth the 600 bucks i paid IMO.
