hey jiwan
im just afraid that if you use that line of reasoning, the cop will say that if your headlights arent bright enough for driving safely without the aid of your driving/fog lights, then the car isnt safe to drive....and, dare i say, defect you??

yeah true, but that sort of cop will not let you off for the foggies in the first place... and i dont think they are so dim that they warrant a defect...
well who can afford a HID kit then?

what wattage are your lights?
mine are 55w and can definitely vouch that they are very dim...
and here's a story on the side...
my wife and I was flagged for a RBT... during the test, the officer goes to the front of the car, makes a comment "those lights are very dim, it seems a bit dagerous"
before I can reply, my lovely wife says "Yeah, I know huh?!, I've been telling him that... it's dangerous"
I just looked at my wife

and turned back to the officer and gave him a big smile

and told him.. "I bought it that way and I plan to change it soon".... but before I spoke he already had a smile from what my missus said... he just let me go... and gave my wife a wink
and yes.. my missus and I was laughing all the way home coz she didn't realise what she just did until I pointed it out
she might aswell have told the cop we had a body in the boot

(if we had one)
