$250 for spark plugs, parts/labour inc.
$270 for timing belt, labour, parts costs unknown

WTF $250 for spark plugs when he is already doing the timing THAT is a rip if ever I saw one.

Doing the timing does not make the spark plugs easier to change. Your removing different bits.
