Got my radiator a few hours ago and it's an alloy one. I have bypassed the original radiators transmission cooler lines as I had a rebuild so I was running on an external only. Should I connect the cooling lines to both??
I guess the more cooling the better to a point correct? The external cooler is not big anyway!

Can you take it to a alloy welder to get it repaired?

Nah its leaking from where the bottom tank meets the alloy core. The way the core wraps around the plastic bottom tank comes lose over time. In basic terms there have just bent metal from the core over the tank to create a seal. Constant vibration makes the metal bends loosen up.
