will still be relatively easy seeing as they still share many parts with mch latter model lancers and many other mitsi's. You just need to research more in the future.

Hi guys well looks like Ive picked up a bargin I have brought a 1995 gpx v6 mivec trip with 109400 on the clock, water pump timming belt changed at a hunderd thousand, very good condition & well looked after.
Has a after market filter and zorst, has a couple of slight scuffs paid $6500.

Well sofar so good im very happy with the car I have taken it out on some long trips with no problems and everything seems to work as it should, It has a brand new set of nice rims & tyres and a aftermarket airfilter and exaust. I have it booked in for a major service next monday. Not that it needs it just for my piece of mind

Ill work out how to post pics and then ill get some pics of the car uploaded.

Great to hear you had a good bargain! btw, where are you located? have you got yourself a reliable mechanic yet? cos this can be very crucial as not many mechanic know about FTO and some of us here had bad experiences which ended up paying $$$$

Hi ill be living in cambelltown sydney for the next few weeks and then im moving to murwillumbah which is still classed as nsw but around 20mins from the goldcoast. I was going to open up a thread asking if anyone could point me in the right direction of a good mechanic in sydney for the service which I am about to do and then of another mechanic closer to the goldcoast. For my everyday cars i have always used Automasters. But I would have no problems switching to another mechanic if they have knowledge of the Fto's.
