Payaya is right that the cold air induction will work better the faster you go and also ideally there should be a heat shield around the filter. As the air is entering at a much faster pace, I would not recommend a sealed enclosure, but something which is mostly covered would be best.
The kit which Steve & UAS is a very good design and if you read the info on it and the various temperature readings you'll see it works quite well too.
