Everyone is going to start hating you now as you have just started raving that its awesome to race down residential streets also you don't have the right to be whinging about cop attention by doing this. You deserve it.
And how is the factory air box restrictive?? Its a box just like a enclosed pod, infact it would be better than an enclosed pod, do you know why?
The smaller factory airbox is getting rammed air straight from the front bar into the airbox hitting and going through a flat panel filter which if your think about it is better as the air is hitting a flat surface that is essentially in a vaccuum because of the intake from the throttle body, then it gets sucked up through 3inch stainless steel piping into the throttle body.
Pod filters are round and most of them don't suck from the ends but the sides, you say a k&n filter giving 1-2hp is not as good as a blitz filter giving 3-4 hp?? How do you even know the difference??? people with pod filters are actually going backwards most of the time.
THE only pod filter system thats worth buying is the BMC one i believe and thats $350 and basically works on the same principle as i have just stated, ramming air into a filter thats in a vaccuum.
And you live in bendigo, why do you have to race in residential streets, surely there are plenty of big long country roads that you can test out your fto on and listen to your music on??? There is a time and a PLACE to do that sort of thing. Also even though you will probably deny it, noone thinks that dickhead that screams past their house at 12am is cool, stop kidding yourself.
Oh and btw no wonder the cops come to you first when there is black marks at the end of someones street.
You sound exactly like bduffman, and bradgpx search those usernames up and have a look at their posts and see what sort of comments they get.
