My current iphone plan expires in a few months so Im looking at getting the new iphone as well if its offered on a reasonable plan, otherwise Im not to fussed as my current phone is still doing well.

Should get my Touch Diamond 2 in the mail tomorrow... maybe I should download a faster ROM tonight.

NOKIA 3310!!!!!!!!!!!

I was a nokia fanboi for so long but in the last 3-4years they have gone down hill and fast. I got a samsung touchscreen f480 or something and it is by far the best phone I have ever used. Im not sure about all the wizz bang features your asking about, as all I use my phone for is msg, phone calls, games and camera. But it truely works awesome, touch screen works amazing and I have even dropped it like 80 times now and still works perfectly

I used to love Nokia's as well, up til about 3-4 years ago when they started getting super sh*t super fast. I also swapped over to Samsung. I had a A701 for about 3 years til i snapped the screen off...funny enough it would still turn on, just no screen

I would suggest a Samsung, best phones I've ever used. Durable, Fashionable, excellent Technology,
As for your original question about using a Telstra phone on Virgin you can, you just have to pay something like $50-$100 to have it unlocked, it was $55 last time I had a phone unlocked in like 2005

unless there is something you specifically need that it wont do that its pretty much the ideal phone atm in my opinion

only things ive hated about it is how apple doesnt like using certain file types

iphones suck arse... in fact, any apple products sucks arse. Apple have mastered the art of the old 'fail days after warranty runs out' to within 2 weeks. I sh*t you not.
And apparently there's now an app for the iphone that tells you how many bangladeshi kids were killed to bring you your iphone.

As above sentiment, I was a Nokia man, but when they went sh*t, went to Sony Erricson. They make some cracking phones.

I was a nokia man before colour phones and I hate all apple products as well except for there iPod range.

First ever phone about 10 yrs ago was nokia 3315 and while it's a brick by todays standards, it was a amazing bit of kit. Reliable, durable and had the original snake on it.

Then had a sony ericcson in T610 in 2003 which was a breakthrough phone coz it was one of the few that had a camera built in at the time. I seriously dropped that phone so many times, once off a second story balcony and it was still working fine. It still works to this day...keep it as my backup
