yeah the resonator kinda tunes the frequencies of the sound by the concept of frequency cancellation, you can shape the tone with resonators but ultimatly the muffler tip is for the volume

Yep... myself, I am a huge fan of a quiet exhaust system, maybe I am showing my age a little but I really don't like a bassy incar exhaust drone. I have 2 resonators and will be getting another when I can be arsed.
