but I think the next event will be a meetup and drive as there are a lot of members that are not interested in racing and power numbers. So I would like to get somthing going for them as well.

They will if both cars are on the rollers at the same time

Aza - is this a bike-allowed track event? Do rikers get a seperate run to the drivers or are both allowed on the track at the same time?

Re: Track day 20th May. This is a go!
hmm might try and bring the racecar down for this. I'll be racing at EC the last weekend of May and will need to bed some new brakes and do a bit of testing. Will come down to finances and available time (both of which are pretty tight since Bathurst).
Be good to finally meet some more of you guys though since I missed the bonfire

Re: Track day 20th May. This is a go!
might come to this one but not actually track it hard, my brakes might warp , J told me his one did...
On the other hand, the mods i have now are:
UAS intake with CAI
2.5 mandrel catback with straight through muffler
Front & Rear ralliart strut braces
before 20th May, these mods are coming in:
BC premium coilovers
Hurricane/RPW Headers
High flow cat
New O2 sensor
[Possibly] new silicon radiator hoses
These mods are pretty much the basics that you would do to your car, but will they suffice for a high revving day at the track ? i might only be pushing it till 7000 or 7500 at most anyway

Re: Track day 20th May. This is a go!
^^ That'd do nicely
Bit of advice for anyone going to the track for the first time, make sure you have quality brake pads and plenty of meat on them, possibly even a spare set. If you're pushing it you'll see high temps on your front brake rotors at Wakefield

Re: Track day 20th May. This is a go!
My race car only runs stock brakes, albeit with DBA rotors (soon to be replaced) and Project Mu pads. If you take it a little easy and only do a few fast laps at a time you should be OK.
The thing with Wakefield u have 3 big stops with not much air in between to cool the rotors. If u do say 3 fast laps then a cool down lap (staying off the brakes) u'd be fine. U should always do a cool down lap before leaving the track anyway.
