The speed limit on P plates does not apply to Queensland.

Thank God...
Of all the stupid laws relating to motor vehicles, and P-platers specifically, that is by far the stupidest IMO.

Firstly, I can see this discussion going downhill from here after that last post, possibly best to leave it where it currently stands.

On another note, Brad, this is a public forum, I appreciate what you are saying and why you said it (im not going to comment), but ANYONE can read these posts and im not sure you want to make a statement like that and leave it here as evidence....... You may (or may not) be interested in editing or removing that last post... Just trying to help...

Not being a smart @ss here.... But most of the Macas down here have security guards on at night.. So should be quite safe..

Last time I checked, the crime rate in Gosford was not too bad... Well general crime is normal, but things like rape and murder is not even up there.. I have family up there and was looking @ making the move.. That's why I was checking crime rates..

Anyway, I would much rather spend $50 on a cab ride for a friend, rather then compromising their safety then stuffing them in the boot of an FTO.. And violating a condition on my licence...

But just my $0.02...

Unbelievable.......

Sitting a set of traffic lights and a car comes smashing up the back of you 80kms, doesnt matter how good a driver you are.
and secondly id rather have a friend with a couple of broken bones (if by some unlikely chance i was in a car crash, i was also traveling quite slow
Broken bones are you serious.......

Mate, im so tempted to be ripping shreds through you right now but i wont because I think then you would not read the rest of my post and just become defensive.

Seriously you need to take a hard long think about you just wrote and then read over everybody else's very reserved comments as i bet they are thinking the same thing that i am right now.

Right now I dont think you should even be allowed to hold a license and the real fact of your story was........
YOU MORE WORRIED ABOUT YOUR LICENSE THAN HER LIFE, and if thats not the case why didnt you just let her in the back seat.

DO YOU KNOW WHAT CRUMPLE ZONES ARE?
