How easy is it to check?
Get the fucker on a hoist, grab the axle and move it all about... laterally I mean, shouldn't move, so if it does, either your axle (probably) or Diff

Wouldn't it have always done it if that was the case? Or is one of those things that only shows up once the clutch loses a lot of it's "meat" if you know what I mean
If it was that the flywheel wasn't machined properly, from what I know, it might be okay at first, but once it came under heavy use it would start being affected by heat & heating unevenly making it worse etc..
I did try shaking the axles around a bit when I had it jacked up yesterday & it didn't seem to be moving

On second thoughts this would prob be the most likely cause. However I have only got about a quater of the clutch travel I used to have and I dont experience this. Even if I drop the clutch at 3krpm. Maybe the pressure plate isn't up to the task. *Now I dont know what to think*

It could be any one of those things, including oil on the clutch face..
I've had some luck with my car .. found out what I thought was clutch slippage - (Put my foot down & revs would rise rapidly, but car not going anywhere) was actually because one of the intercooler hoses had come loose & I wasn't building boost properly
The "clutch shudder" & metal clunking noises I was hearing that I thought were gearbox mount probs was more likely the metal intercooler piping clanking around.. though there is still a slight clutch shudder there, it has mostly disappeared now that I've secured the intercooler piping back on..
Engine no longer seems to be running rich & it's idling a lot better now too..
Gonna have to get some big fk off heavy duty clamps to secure the silicone hose properly so ti doesn't happen again

Mate, I can't find them, but for the cost they sell for at a speed shop (like $40 + each) it may be worth getting some from here. Postage should be cheap, and a group buy is possible to AU (they discount bulk orders)
Mission to find on their site though because I can't think of what the product was actually called... I paid $6.75 each for my big ones! Primo quality too (www.nzperformance.co.nz sources their from there)

Or you could try source those German Wurtz ones that came with the UAS intake kits. They were really good quality.
