I'm thinking about doing the same .. but I don't think I'll qualify for the first home builder's grant before the cut off date ..

I think you're going to have to have the construction started .. i.e. the slab laid down before the end of financial year or something.. I'll talk to my parents / brother as they've just built / are in the process of building a house
Yeah this is my second house so unfortunatly i dont qualify for it anyway......dam shame lol
If your GF hasn't bought a house before & you're both purchasing it, she would qualify .. something to think about at least.. ;)

Well sh*t I guess you go out to the farm, grow your own vegetable and fruits and make your food out of scratch. I guess you also go to the lake, get your own drinking water and farm rocks out of the earth, made your own bricks and cement and built your own house. Cos goddamn if you didn't do all those things yourself, it sure it expensive to get somebody to do them for you.

I feel sorry for you :(

wow! sh!t man, that was probably the biggest load of crap ive ever heard in my life. Everything u just said was not justified at all, can you please support your argument and tell me why you think its better to throw $1000 cash for labour rather than simply learn yourself and spend less than a day servicing your own car? :slap:

How about you both stop whoring this thread..

BOT

Went out to the property on the weekend to see how all this rain had affected (eg no flooding) and all was good. The forest part of the land is so wicked i cant wait to get my paintball gun

Actually, all I did was respond to your cocky comment about you being better than the people who don't service their own cars. I don't service my car cos I'm happy paying somebody to service it for me, money is not an issue. I don't need you to feel sorry for me.

Sorry Simon I'll get out of your thread now.

ok, well for starters i wasn't trying to be cocky at all but i do feel more reassured about the fact that if a problem arises with my car I am able to fix it myself at a fraction of the cost of taking it to a mechanic, thats all im saying ...

im out this thread too ;)
