I would never just fit springs to any car, you need matched shocks or you will f**k them royally. Low King Springs in my old GPX had the shocks on bump stops within weeks, should have replaced them when I had it all apart as it is a pain in the ass to have to do it anyways down the track (not to mention 2 lots of labour GRR).
Hence why I went for coilovers, mine are too hard, but 2 years later I am still handling it so can't be that bad
