July is totally out. Nothing but school holidays the whole month.

We are now looking at middle June or start of August

DATES:

Friday 3rd - Sunday 5th April.

We have had to bring this thing Forward, sorry guys but its the only weekend that is going to be still warm, with no school holidays etc etc.

Yeah, everybody deserves a long weekend.

You can leave what eva time you like. Aj will give you sydney guys some more accurate info on travel etc but from memory its aboout 5-6hr drive.

I plan on leaving early friday morning like 4am, just because i perfer not to be driving during the hotest part of day and also to get the most out of my trip. oh and also to have my first drink by lunch time

Hmm you COULD do that since you work right next door, or I can just take a day off lol.

Oh and Simon - It won't be too hot in april, weather should start easing down in March.

Sorry man but i aint driving my car for 13hrs for one night. I am already sketching out at driving it 5hrs lol

I think Yang's got a point .. maybe we should just drive to Victoria for the cruise..

..no ... wait .. Let's just drive to fricken PERTH via MELBOURNE & stop into Darwin & Cairns on the way back!!!

anyways man, i was kidding about driving down for the bonfire, but i do need at least 2 month notice so i can arrange for the time off from work, so the sooner you can set the dates the better.

btw what were you thinking of for accommodation? there's some really really cheap motels down there ($60 - 80 per night for something 20 metres away from the beach)

im keen on this if its july, aug... but april i wont have my car back together....

yeah might be later in the year now as dstocks has his bonfire.
