I can't find the item to the right of the tape and to the left of the ring. And I can't open the red box of mystery. I've got the ring inside it, but don't know what else fits.

One hint please?

to the left of the ring should be a second ring.

A hint... hmmm... look for something that opens from left to right, then click on it up high when open. Sometimes this takes a couple of times to work.

To the right of the cassette is a small metal stick, but as for a clue, you asked for only one, which I gave above, so I can't give you another... yet :P

You have to click on the spot directly after the movie finishes, and sometimes you need to click a number of times to get it to work.

The information at the URL is VERY useful, especially once you click on the spot on the wall

(said in jest) geez, talk about being direct, can't you make your hints to rxboy a little more subtle, you're giving it away, rather than letting him search.  :P

True. I think the purpose of this is to look at it, find out that it is empty, and then to make you look where the CD might be?!?!?! oh, that hint was too subtle was it

true, it did make me look there, but i think thats probably one of the easiest places.... it was just confusing that the other items got dim after using them but these were still lit up making you think you hadnt used it properly... but hey this game wasnt supposed to be so straight forward i guess

Hint: Sometimes when you sleep, various objects fall out of your crack and land near the pillow 8O

Thanks for the tips Ruchi and G1. I ended up finding the ring and accidently found the stick and finished the game straight away.
