I don't know..is the Toyota Supra classified as a big car?

Because you all know the only reason i like the FTO is because it looks like a smaller version of a supra.

yeah its not a hair dressers car... the supra has the best back end styling of any car ive seen imo

the supra is a good looking car... but i wouldnt get an fto because its similar to a supra. i'd just go out and buy the supra. its like those posers who put s15 front bars on their 180's, might awell have the real thing.

mate are you serious??? Have you even driven a non turbo supra?? They are big slow crappy piece of sh*t. Now dont get me wrong i love supra's but FFS a non turbo version You might as well buy a boat or even worse a commonwhore. IMO a N/A supra is a hairdressers car

supra non turbo only makes about 5kw ATW more than the gpx and the the FTO makes that up from its weight, my mate has one and its on par with my FTO. Although he is a crappy shifter

Yeah..i mean..with the non-turbos, there's barely any wheelspin..
That's not how supras are meant to be.

They must at minimum spin the wheels in second gear, or i'm not interested.

For a start that is why I love having an FTO in this country.

Let me backtrack for a bit first though with a question...

Do FTO's get stolen very often in AU?

If not, then never mind.

FTO's have very low perceived value in NZ which is good for many reasons, insurance is cheap, none of the idiot schmucks get hold of them and thrash them (too much). Thieving scum don't even look at them and the police don't look either...

The bad things: Companies don't do any R&D on them so no off the shelf parts, one bloody bodykit available (VS Replica) and no Altezza style tail lights or carbon parts. Everything needs to be custom made.

That said, time for stories, oh how I love stories :D

About 15 months ago, after I got my car, I was doing a bit of driving around my old home town. Some idiot in his GF's 5 series beamer pulls up beside me at the lights (bare in mind he hadn't seen my FMIC) "FTO's are a pansies car" to which I replied, "Really?" Care to put some money where your mouth is you ignorant piece of 5hit?" He wanted to go for $100, I pushed him up to $300 before the lights were about to change.

He agreed, then I had to give the subtle accelerator stab and PSHHHHH... The look on that idiots face was priceless. I let them go, he was rather happy as he thought he was in for some cash as they were a car length ahead, I changed to second and gunned it and passed them in a cloud of tyre smoke.

I pulled into a servo and he wouldn't get out. Silently his GF got out and went to the EFTPOS machine and withdrew some cash.

The next one, and one I find rather funny, someone I knew pulled up at a set of lights beside me and we were about to have a chat, another car pulled up on the other side, same BS about girls cars and PoS etc, I didn't even look at them, put it in neutral and RRRM PSHHH RRRM PSHHH. Sudden silence. They wouldn't pull up next to me at the next set of lights.

It is funny, the sheer uninformed ignorance of these dumasses. And also, I find that it is mostly the people riding in their mates "awesome" cars (skylines, RX7's, VR4's, EVO's, WRX's) that make these stupid remarks, not the drivers for the most part (the drivers tend to recognise a car from Autosalon, other shows and drag racing) where the drunkards don't

Also, don't worry about GP Forums, it's a gaming forum, what do they know? They are more interested in the car they can buy in GT4 for 1,500,000 cr than having a kick ass car in their driveway
