so would i be right in assuming that it doesnt have the options for tuning audio, bass etc? ( Fade, Bass, treble, midrange etc?)
No you would be wrong why would you assume that???...... my grandma's gramaphone has those options
Hahahahah smartass!! I assumed that cos you didn't mention it and you just said it's got preset eq's! Now that I know I might be interested!!
I assumed the same

So it has the preset EQ ... But what are the range of tuning options it gives you ... The only reason I have not bought one before, is they have no where near the amount of tuning aspects as my Pioneer .... I love all the sub control, EQ, and settings that you get for your Mids and stuff....

FFS, your comparing a $400 head unit to a $1500+ HU.

Its not going to be anywhere near the fine adjustments that the pinoeer has but in saying that i had one (till my car got broken into) and it was awesome. I was only running 2 x 7x10 kenwoods and front splits...........It made me decide that i no longer wanted OR NEEDED subs. The sound was extremely crisp.

But as i say dont compare apples to oranges.

Anyone who is interested let em know, as there seems to be quiet a few ppl who are.

I wish I had a 1500+ Pioneer ... I have one of the early ones, that was only $800 when I bought it new (some years ago) ...

But, I don't want to replace it with something that will not give me the same "sort of" controlls when it comes to Sub, mids, and all that ... I currently don't have the sub installed, and just have the Pioneer on the "Rock" setting and it is good .. But when I put the sub in, I want a range of controls...

So, judging by the response, I am guessing that this alternative may not meed my needs.... No biggie, was just checking ...

Well there are a few Sydney guys that are showing interest, so I may just wait for them to buy it and sus it out in person ... It sounds like a good product though .. I was going to get the same one as Dstocks, but yeah, it was the same sort of thing as yours... Long story short, I don't want to do away with my sub ...

of course you can run subs with these and tune them accordingly as its the amp what determines what the sub actully does at the end of the day!!
I have seen many of these and they run amps and subs(multiple) very well so for the price and what you get with them i think they are a good buy and yes you can control bass trble faders etc from the units and they do have other preset settings like jazz rock pop etc the only real way to setup a sub correctly is via the gains on the amp not the settings on the head unit

Not just to control the sub ... But to have a bit more then just Fade, Bal, Treb, Bass ... But Freq, Mid, High's, etc, etc ... But yeah, will see what it is like from one of the other NSW guys ...
