$3000 grand. FTOSam is taking the gearbox & driveshaft, hubs etc for $1500, so the motor was $1500.

are you going to run nos on this one Ben?

with that under the hood I will never keep up with you now

Of course! :D

The nos shot will be downsized to a 25 or 50hp shot & it will be tuned to come on earlier, so it will spool the turbo's up nice & early. Gonna high flow the factory turbo's, tune it all together with a Haltech Interceptor piggback, coupled with my nice exhaust, we should see 200-225kws at the wheels.

how long do you think it will be till you are up and running with it?

Yes, lucky I got that diff!

The beauty of the whole arrangement is that it will make easy power. No need for massive nos hits or 8k redlines, a daily a driver that peak torques at 6.5 -7k.

Hope to have it running in 4 weeks... emphasize the word 'hope'

I thought the nos shot would have to be real low like 10hp with a turbo (without forgies)???????

Been told not go to over 25 for the moment. I dont think there's such a jet small enough for 10

Putting tgether a hybrid would be cool, but it'd cost you a fortune. Factor in the cost of having to buy 2 engine & pay for 1 full engine rebuild - $10k.

Dunno why you'd bother when you can dump the 6A13 in as is, then add a couple of grand labour. My aim is to try do it all for under 6 grand.

Hrmm.. if you build this, it will truely be a unique FTO...

Ooooo the sound.... extra half a litre of torque and combined with a few ancillairy mods, you should be cracking some great power...

But as ben said, will prob cost the same as a 6a13tt conversion, but obviously be a little bit more off tap...
