When the FTO first came out in the mid-'90s the car critics loved it, and one of the most noticeable features was its suspension and handling. At the time it apparently left all its competitors for dead.
So if you are comparing it to mid-'90s hondas, then the FTO's suspension should be better, but if comparing to newer Integra's, then with technology changes and upgrades, the Integra will probably win, but not by much

nick, are you referring to the Integra Type-R? because as I understand it, the DC2R has different suspension setup (much stiffer) with LSD and lighter kerb weight hence it has better handling...
i understand the FTO's main rival is the DC2R, but since this is a thread about 'VTiR vs the FTO' I just thought we should keep the comparison relevant...
What I'm thinking is the Civic and Integra @ EF, EG, EK and DC2 having the 4 Double-wishbone suspension which is one of the best suspension I think.
Thant's why I said doing cornering will be a bit better than FTO.
Why they don't have 4 Double-wishbone but 2 in the new DC5 is....... the production cost, since Double-wishbone is the most expensive system to built up compare to mutile-link.... and all other type !!
