But will add that if you put all your force behind the bolts doing them up, you're likely to strip the thread. That would be BAD. Don't go crazy, just firm/tight.
The bolts are nowhere near tight puting in a turn will still make the bolts loose.

ok acouple of quick questions guys....
1)im adjsuting the tappets howthe f&ck do you know which one is exhaust and which one is intake like which one is .1mm and .13mm would be good if someone could post a diagrm.
2) im changing the fuel filter...does the fuel pump need to be disconnected because i hear the fuel lines are pressurised so when i undo thebolt for the fuelfilter i dont want fuel to squirt at me or should i just undo it gently?
3) i bought some top gun leads and it says on the top fun website (3 leads only) does that meanthe fto only needs 3 leads???
thanks for the help guys

Edit
1) The ones on the outside of the block should be exhaust (the ones closest to its exhaust for that bank) and in the middle of the block are the intake. Does that make sense
2) The power to the fuel pump needs to be disconnected by either unplugging it at the pump (under rear seat) or by pulling out the fuse/relay (not sure where thats located). then start the car the engine will suck all the fuel out of the line so it is safe to take off. You can just pull it off though if you have no choice just make sure you wear eye protection and try to keep hose away from face
3) No a fto needs 6 (V6). So you will need 6 leads

See Edit
PS that is my opinion and i take no liability for being wrong you may want to seek a second opinion from someone who has done them before eg bennoz

ohh ok i get it now....so 3 leads front coilpacks to rear plugs got it and thanks l8fre for the fuel filter info.
so can someone confirm this.....the intake oens are the valves that are closes to the centre of the engine and the valves furthest away from the engine are exhaust?
oh and one more question i got rubber seals form mitsubishi...the mechanic there said they put permatex ultra blue around the whole head of the engineso not jsut on sharp bts or where it says in the workshop manual around the semi circles he said do it around the whole head is this right?
Also what did you guys use to clean the head from the old stuff that was on it?
