Need Help Installing new stereo

a normal case scenario, my mates dodgy installation in his car, $800 pioneer deck, $1500 pioneer pro series speakers, comp system, almost got burnt before his eyes, when a short blew, cause excessive heating, and hence a 1 foot piece of wire connecting deck to amp was on fire infront of his eyes. luckily he was present in the car and extuinguished it! tsk tsk!

yeh i think im just gonna have to take it in hay guys, does any one know how much it costs around a bouts. thanks
