VLC player is THE best.
So is buying a $200 HD-DVD player and watching them in 1200p through your PC

I'm guessing these '700mb' files just HAPPEN to be .avi??!!
Most DVD players don't play .avi's, but if you convert it to DVD format using a program like the above, you can just burn it straight to DVD and it will work.

Ditch the HD DVD player. Go buy a Blu-ray, HD DVD is about to go the way of Beta

yeah, it just sucks that HD DVD vs Blue Ray wasn't
decided by the p0rn industry like VHS vs BETA was
