Thanks peeps...
Yeah, I love the mesh too ... I got it off some Evo GSR specialists calle Meek ... Only problem is that ther was only enough to do the bar... The panel shop got their own version to do the bonnet, and it doesn't look as good
but I can always replace it later ...
I was not sure if I was going to keep it silver, or paint it black ... But I guess I will never know what looks better... Unless someone wants to photo shop it ...

Very nice bro
CHRISTIANITY: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

Thanks guys.... I was really down about this project... Spent way too much on the engine, was worried about the condition of the bodywork ... Then the cost of the spray job etc. etc. Before the car was put back to I wanted to just cut the loses and sell it ... My mechanic was keen to buy it, but quickly put it all together for me so I could drive it ... I loved it ... Then came the cost of the spray ... Was starting to feel the same, but when the colour was mixed, I knew I was going to be in love.... When I saw the first coat ... Well I creamed the jeans ... Soooooooo happy I have stuck with her..... It really has been a labour of love, and she is not even finished ...
Yeah, will get some more for you when I pick her up this week... Hope the weather holds out for me to take some shots on the way home....BorepYano wrote:a couple photos of the car in differenty light conditions and the paint code please
I was thinking of pearling her too ... But decided that I would keep it simple... The colour already has a pearl in it, but you can't really see it ...maggsy wrote:i love that paint.
i'm thinking of going just a bit lighter then that for my FTO with a pearl flake.

Yeah, FTO is my daily .... I had a 91 Cressida also, but sold it on Saturday as i have too many cars... There is also the project AE86 which is going to have a 308 put in it... Well that is the plan ...Bennoz wrote:So you gonna keep the FTO as well? What profession are you in?
ohh, and I can't forget my GSXR1000 ... She is another one of my toys.. But I have not had the chance to ride her for about 5 months... So she got a flat battery which I gotta change...
What do I do ... Well I use to look after a call centre for a financial institution ... I managed Australia and NZ ... But now have gone into Froeign Exchange, and launched a new product, and now manage the portfolio ... But is just Aus based ... And on the side, I do mortgages, and sell property ...
Thanks mate ... I can't wait to get some better quality pics ... And drive the bloody thing...khunjeng wrote:looks hot hot hot...

Thanks guys ...
The seats are great ... Really hold you in too ... My idea with the car was to try and keep it as simple as possible... No white leather, but more practical ... It is a car to be driven, not just taken to shows...
I am still tossing up if I put the same system and set up that was in the Sonata... Will see how it all goes...
Surely will bring it on a cruise, but I better at least come to 1 cruise in the FTO first... lol ... Don't want to make her jealous....

Well the spray job cost me this ...
So for size comparison ...
Or 8.6k if you can't count all the notes...
Other then that ... Well, I lost count on the engine after about 20K .... Then there came the 5k or so to install the engine, do all the aircon piping and misc stuff... EMS chip etc.
5K to buy the mangled shell, and another 2k to partially straighten it by a dodgy panel beater that I will never say anything good about ...
And probably about another 3-5 odd k for mounts, suspension, panels, front bar and doors... And little performacne things like the 272 cams, and upgrades...
I think the interior set me back about 2k...
