the only bad thing is (depending how much power the invertor produces) the invertor will over heat and shut its self down and u have to wait ages for it to cool down to start playin again.. as the ps2 required a fair but of power to run.. as i had one in my car and it only lasted like 1hr before it wood shut down and it if its a realli hot day then forget about it..

thats a 50-50 chance.
if mounting on the dash i say go the old one but thing is is there enough space inside that area of the dash. sometimes u got like beams n sh*t in it.
if it fits then we'll be make`n a custom plate to mount it.
one other question do u use your glove box if not u can mount it there. "slimline"

hey boarsai. from research a ps2 doesnt us as much power compared to a xbox.
next time u do something just hide them where the headunit space is or up behind the glove box.

Battery would drain from full to nothing in about 5 days. Wiring was bad, the ps2 itself was fine... the powerpack which was under the seat IIRC didn't overheat. I'd love to see what kinda heat an XB360 would generate...
I ended up having to jump start my car if I left it for over 5 hours
The wiring in my car was *absolutely* horrid.
PS2's are fine, just not sure I can be bothered putting it back in is all
I didn't make use of it enough to really waste money atm, want to do some other things such as new front bar and such. However if I had money to burn, I'd sure as hell wack the ps2 back in
Bit of wank factor... but also can be handy when bored waiting for someone
