With the plates i heard you have to pay a subscription evry year is that true? or just an upfront cost and then thats it

Just upfront in QLD..
NSW'ers have to pay an amount each year...
and have bugger all colours and designs, etc..

because....
Standard... i.e xxx-00 or 00-xxx or xxx-000 or 000-xxx is $495 or something.
Prestige can be numbers or letters.. i.e. x00xx0 or xxxxxx or 00xx0x
and is also $2295...
not looking forward to forking out the coin...

The cheaper ones have to be crappy combinations of letters and numbers the expensive ones can be whatever you want. It's just a way to milk more money out of us. *shrug*

i have 2 plates in nsw that i have in storage..
but qld is differnt.. so you can copy
VBR47R (vibrator) used on my spl prelude
and
i think this 1 is brilliant for you.
