WTTC, on the insurance front jsut though I'd share something. When I got my first car I didn't get comprehinsive cause it was too expensive. 2 years later and one at fault accident I got my FTO and payed $3,500 in insurance in the first year because I had no previous comprehinsive insurance and had no no claim bonus.
Just a thought to consider, it may be worth the cost if you can afford it for peace of mind and it will reduce quickly over time. Now and being close to 25 has seen my premium come down to a little over $1000

I can be extreamely usefull when inspecting an FTO as we know what to look for as far as problem areas. I also deal with selling cars in my work, so im also a good negotiator...
