And Trav I've noticed you're the only one who has decided that their cover thumbnail pic needed to be bigger than standard

He He, I was playin with the thumbnail settings and then noticed I'd made mine smaller. Quick adjustment and I'm bigger n bolder than the rest

Yikes. Hope that's not a precedent.

Just my opinion but do we really need the basket/photo order options? People can always save the large images that are uploaded and get them printed at their local printers... if they so require.

Just adds more links that clutters up the menus... makes it harder to find that comment button on the left hand side.

Be nice if you could move the comment button to the bottom of the page too... been a long time since I've played with gallery... but I'm sure that's quite possible.

Just my additional 5 cents. Still looking good... it has sped up considerably too :D altho it still has its moments.

Not meaning to be a forum nazi but wasn't there a footer image size limit thread somewhere? Just don't want to see that spiralling out into crazy lands... the forums can load slowly enough as it is some days.

Very true on all counts. Also reading up on half those plugins, most of them are a security risk when running! So why do they put them in.... There's known vulnerabilites in half of them!

So I've disabled all the fancy crap that will never be used. Im still looking at moving the comments button. The menu's have now cleared considerably & with a number of those plugins disabled, I've been able to turn the speed acceleration up to full speed too :D

Rocking. That's one of the reasons my host wont allow me to run Gallery2... sooooo many exploits... and the types of people that exploit them are the same types that do the PHPNuke etc.

Script kiddies ahoy. My host got burnt pretty badly by some g2 installs... every index/home/etc on the server was replaced with less then... tasteful text/imagery.

*sigh* Script kiddies.

Less is more anyway ;) Got two big nights planned this weekend... might fit some time into looking into the PHPN templates... see how easy they are to mod. I like tinkering with layouts.

Shame they stopped support for nuke integration of Coppermine gallery :|

That'd be great :) Wouldn't mind also looking to do a fancy cover page for the site at some stage too. At the moment its just a little bit of html code that redirects from .com to .com/index.php

Never used coppermine... header redirects are awesome though... I wouldn't change that... splash pages aren't really necessary. Just spice up the template a bit or something (:

Its especially slow the first time you use it. All the info is being cached into your browser. Its usually a little better after that.
