and the last place i was in before hopping on the boat was Weymouth, Dorset

I know what you mean when you say its only a couple of words,
i get picked up on (pulled the piss out of) for saying:
yog-urt rather than yo-gurt and
new-castle rather that new-car-sel
besides that my accents pretty much gone, its only until i say something
like the above that people if im Irish
