Lol.. You're patriotism is overwhelming, rob....
very agreed... deep down they are the same.. or very close to it..
The performance difference would only be really noticable in a head to head race or something. being in the car wouldnt seem that noticable.
So in the end they are awesome cars to drive..
But as for michaels case...
A fto with 6,000rpm redline... The best bit would be that extra 2krpm of 6a12 fury!
I got MIVEC again! WOOO!

My old GR had a sweet sounding exhaust but my GPX sounds so good with Mivec. I must admist though I can't really feel much a performance difference...but that might be because I drove a R33 for a couple of months in between the GR and GPX.Bennoz wrote:Bah, Mivec is over rated
All in all who cares if its a GR or GPX, in the end they both have the best badge of all......FTO![]()

Yeah I think after the years of discussion that we've come to the conclusion that they're basically exactly the same performance wise, maybe a LITTLE to the GPX but that's screwed over by the way it delivers the power or something.
However.. that roar from around 5k onward is the best engine note I've EVER heard. Ever. Smooth loud and angry.
