Your not wrong rallymad thats exactly what a half cut is. Its the cheapest way of buying all the Gpx goodies including brakes ecu etc.

yep

when you get a half cut you can dressed or undressed

dressed= has all the panels and very hard to find

undressed= has no planels

another thing to sometimes they will be missing the brakes and dash if you go that way make sure you get one with the dash and the brakes

How much would I be looking at for a decent half cut?

I swear, there probably isn't THAT much differance between the cars to warrent all this fuss.

The brakes on a gpx are much bigger than the ones on a gs, probably a different master cylinder as well. I sure the ecus would also be different as would most of the wiring looms too. If your prepared to do the work yourself this would be the cheapest option. Some where like just jap in sydney would have a half cut but generally they arent cheap. Maybe buying a gpx would be a much easier option? Just a thought. :lol:
