:(
This Scanner is OBDII not MUTII, it will not work with FTO's
Quote from review........
Cons:
Net protocols of the Japanese market and, accordingly, Code Reader Memo Scan does not see the Japanese.
Other Thoughts:
any bad note in the technical description of the scanner information that is not suitable for all cars Mitsubishi that would mislead people into viewing this scanner.

Yeah, it's bullshit. To create any kind of boost using that method, you need something that has a properly designed housing (i.e. a turbo or supercharger) and is capable of spinning well over 100,000rpm. To cap it all, the current draw for something that powerful is so high that you effectively overheat the motor if it's on for more than about 20seconds...

That sh*tty little fan inside a crappy pod would barely do 1000rpm, and at 14A of current draw would actually cause you to lose power from the extra load on the alternator...

 I know its not gonna do sh*t, but thinking hypothetically - couldnt it be deemed as "forced induction"? (Note the quotation marks!)

I don't think that the fan can keep up with the vacuum that the engine is creating, ie: how much the engine is sucking in, I think the fan will be just sucked in the opposite direction. The little electric motor wont be able to keep up pace.
So it wouldn't be forced induction, it would be a hinderance/blockage to induction ;)

Then my question is simply "why does that exist?"

So people like you who "think" it's "forced induction" buy it and the manufacturers make money
