If you put on a supper high flow cat you will get a 10kw gain at the wheels top end
or de-cat pipe   not that I would do anything like that

I have 2 hotdogs though, 15" and 13", is that going to at least dampen that tinnyness?

Wouldnt recommend a punched stock cat.

I tried that with my exhaust and its sounds realllllll harsh and (*bad*).

Pulls harder though.

Ok so got a quote from liverpool exhaust today for my last exhaust mod:

Hurricane Headers:
Installed - $1400 8O
By itself - $1000 still 8O

both those with HPC

Do those prices look right ? I refuse to pay $400 for labour!
Would someone be so kind as to help me out installing the headers? 1000 for the HPC'd headers seem expensive, i thought they were about 800...

i'll just buy the headers with HPC and probably get help installing it sometime, maybe in DIY day.

Haha, yeah HPC is a toss unless you're making serious power.

^^ yeah i knew that, but not only that, i know that hpc is a heat resistant protective coating, therefore im not too concerned about the performance benefits that i'll be missing out on, but more on the protection it provides.

As in corrosion? :? It won't happen. Only thing its good for is aesthetics.

olly's extractors has some rust spots, which i don't understand, as im pretty sure they are coated. bah, if it is completely useless for my application, then i might consider getting them without the hpc.

Its surface rust! Just sand it off & hit them with some heat proof paint - available in spray cans from any auto shop.

I remember you were selling rpw headers before and they were rusty as chips! but then again they looked like stock from what i remember, not the hurricane lookalike.

I'll just buy the hurricanes naked from liverpool exhaust and hpc it myself... better find guides to do it proper though. wouldn't wanna do it again when they're on the car.
