I did mine over a 1 week period (I had a spare car to drive around in)

Once you get the hang of removing the rings that hold the stockies down it's pretty easy.

I would probably say that the total time would be about 10 hours for me. But I was mostly watching tv and doding it at the same time....

Here is the terms and conditions of this group buy.
*It is non refundable
*Supplier is the same as the previous group buy, so, the quality of the product should be same.
*Buyer to fit the seat covers. Approximately, 8 hours of lazy labour.
*Product does not come with a warranty, nor I am responsible for any damaged goods.
*I have a contact in Manila who will check the quality of each seat cover individually, organize the delivery to fright agent (to the ship), place the seat covers in to the private container.
*I am doing everything I can to make sure no problems will occur. However, if anything goes wrong during this group buy, (such as problems with supplier, theft, accident, delay, etc…) I wont be liable legally or financially. In addition, if something goes wrong I will do anything I can to solve the problem.

Well, I think the legal part is over guys.

Here is the pricing details.
- Seat Covers = $150 (this is the best price I can get. we mentioned to supplier about the previous price, however, no further discount allowed for 25 set of seat covers. However, If there are 30 sets ordered, then the price will be $145. I think I made them are aware that we are desperate overseas buyers!)
- $15 per set to my contact for his work. This includes checking the quality of the seat covers individually, transportation, loading and driver cost to the port.
- $25 per set shipping cost to Port of Melbourne. In a private container, not jammed with other peoples junk. Sealed against the leaks, and other weather conditions.
- $30 per set to clear the customs. %10 GST and %10 Duty fee.
- $5 per set for me to hiring a track to get the seat covers home from the port.

So the total is $225 per set. No profit made.

Extra material is $15 per sqm delivered to Melbourne. This includes every other cost mentioned above.

Buyer also will pay the postage cost from Melbourne to buyer's location. Melbourne people can come and collect it from my place or city.

Supplier is asking 2 weeks for orders to be made, and shipment process should take about 2-3 weeks.

It is still cheap, however, I have to admit though I thought it would be super cheaper.

If everybody is OK with above conditions, I will pm my bank details.

Great work Max!!!..
Its surprising that the supplier put the price up even though this order is more than twice the size of the previous group buy.
It seems to me that way too many diff people contacted them thus giving him the option to hike the price.
But in the end at least we have a good option to bring these seat covers over here...
Once again great work!!

I did my best to organise this group buy for us, and I am desperately hoping that absolutly no problems will occur, so I wont make anybody upset.

Wicked work Mxysxy, setting this up could not have been easy, so you definatly should feel proud. great great work.

oh and a thought... maybe we should pm you with light/dark specification. for instance mine says beige, how do you know which beige... better to get everyone to say exactly which shade... incase some one gets wrong shade and isnt happy.

I actually suspect based on that Adriano said in an earlier port that cream=light beige. So maybe baige beige = dark beige.

Not sure though :)

Looks like this is progresing rather nicely.
Anyway, just though i should mention a couple things.

First, to get a really good fit, you will need a bit more time, then 8 hours, well, i took more anyway, I spend a whole day 6pm to 11pm, then another day, 9 to 5pm to do all the seats.

Secondly, remember that these aren't leather, and if you leave them in direct sunlight, prepare to get your ass burnt.

Lastly, if anyone wants an idea of how to fit them, and the steps that need to be done, before getting the seats, download this file:

>> http://www.boryadesign.net/fto/my/seats/frontseats.zip (~5mb)

Anyway. hope the group buy works out for everyone.
