Tasty rotor goodness. 320x32mm Evo rotors (DBA4418S). $358 delivered was pretty sweet.

Yup. Matt's told me I might probably need a spacer for my wheels to clear the calipers, as another Evo 5 guy needed 5mm ones, but will see when it all arrives.dstocks wrote:Ahhhh
Might go wheel shopping again haha

Didn't say I was going to definitely haha. I'd certainly prefer not to. I do still have the RG-Ds which would likely fit, but would rather not spend the money on tires for them.Vectose wrote:Goes for engineerable brake upgrade, uses non engineerable spacers....

Re: BJK's '95 FTO GPX #2!
They're heeere. Fortunately on a day when I'm not at work as I usually would be. Helped the delivery guy haul it across the street, he said it seemed heavier than the 25kg the wreckers listed it as, and I'd tend to agree! Looks like the ball joint boots or whatever they are need replacing, not sure if they were like that, or just from the control arms being moved where they usually wouldn't. Slight bend on one of the hard lines on the caliper but seems okay. Paint has obviously seen almost two decades of road wear.
Free rotors! (but replacing anyway with above DBAs), and looks like reasonable meat on the pads too. Haven't had a good look at the bushes in the arms, but will likely replace those as well (the poly are quite expensive though, so if these are still in reasonable nick might leave them in. Having said, now's probably the best time to do them.)

These might only go on after the bonfire, depending on the weather and availability of facility at #TimKnottMotorsport. Trying to chase down some Evo 8 MR BBS rims in the meantime as well to clear them, then probably get the rash cleaned up on the RPF1s and move those on and just use the BBS till I feel like getting some 18s.

Poly bushes expensive? Think I paid like $70 for the rears and $20 for the fronts. Thats for both sides.

Oi? Where from, I tried looking before and it was like twice that or more. Are they the same between the Evo 4 and 5?Vectose wrote:Poly bushes expensive? Think I paid like $70 for the rears and $20 for the fronts. Thats for both sides.

Tim should be able to get em for a lot cheaper trade. I got mine through Bennoz. Was a lot cheaper than retail.

IIRC correctly the fto ones fit fine on the EVO arms.

The rear one is the same as the vR, front one I think ended up being slightly different. This was for the Evo 3 arm that Ben used though?Vectose wrote:IIRC correctly the fto ones fit fine on the EVO arms.

I might even see if they're the same on the Superpro site.

Just went through Bennoz' thread. Apparently they're same diameter but just a tad longer. Price should still be the same though.
