Grind the nut off! Or use a jack to jack up your breaker bar.

Jack under a breaker bar then. Jack up the breaker bar so it goes in an anticlockwise direction while jacking up breaker bar. Or $20 from Bunnings for a grinder.

I'll have an FTO one day... i swear!

until then:
1. 2001 Merc-Benz A160 (porta-loo on wheels)
2. 2007 Peugeot 307 TDi (more fun than you'd expect)
3. 2009 Mitsubishi Triton Di-D (a monster in its own right)
4. 1992 Nissan NX Coupe (club car and project car)
5. 1996 Holden SB Barina - "The Nugget"
6. 1996 Jeep XJ Cherokee Sport - The Budget Build
7. 2010 Toyota Landcruiser 76 Series - V8 Goodness... - Build coming soon.
8. 1990 Audi 90 manual - The delightfully dignified daily driver

Score! Looks like the clutch is basically brand new dude, plenty of meat on it. Got yourself a bargain there.

I also love the stock gauges with the stainless surround, wouldnt opt the 'fto mivec' on it myself but it looks good nonetheless :thumright:

Yeah, awesome bargain. Cheers Taz ;)

And yeah, I was tossing up between FTO GPX and FTO MIVEC or just FTO. They all looked so good  Overall very happy with the steel plate. Quality!

Didnt i send you both the brake and clutch pedal? What other pedal do you need?
And a shifter you can pick up anywhere for cheap these days.
Even just the box you got a pretty good deal

You did. I mean just the little rubber and or metal grip plates on the bottom (the part that you actually rest your foot on) that need to be stuck onto the bottom of the lever.

Both shifter and pedal plates (whats the actual name for them?) are easy to get.

Small update. Currently pulling the camshafts out at the moment..

I believe theyre called the camshaft bearing caps - I have all the bolts out, although I'm struggling to get them off. I dont particularly want to start bashing them with a hammer (unless thats actually how youre meant to do it ) Is there some trick to it or do I just need to take a hammer and wood to them?

Edit - Also, am I able to just pull the lead/cord from the oil control valve off or does it need to stay on? It looks like its meant to stay on, and its also still attached in the pictures in the manual, so I have left it together. Just wondering if I can take it off with no issues?
