It's bad when you have to quote yourself

Oh and all members that have big jobs need to be there first thing in the morning as we don't want to start them to late in the day.

This is the list of things I'll be doing. Keep in mind I'll be able to help out with your other bits & pieces, but this will be my main mechanical priorities:

2. FTO_GPvR- Short Shifter to be installed
4. Tippin - Samco power steering hose
6. eddiii - Window rattle
9. Rock_it - Adjust tappets
11. zuihoujueding - window rattle, front droplinks - How many & which engine mounts are we talking about?
12. FTO-Boy - Spark plugs, Change auto tranny oil, change suspension spring, droplinks, replace front brakes - I know you want to do swaybar as well, but thats super time consuming without a hoist. Is the existing one broken or you just upgrading?
13. Gholdwayne - Adjust tappets

Im also thinking, for those of you that have tappets, depending on how we go for time, I might just have to do the front bank (the easy to get to bank) and show you how its done, so you can do the rear bank at another time. Otherwise I'll be getting bogged down taking off intake manifold after intake manifold.

yeah ben my front sway bar has snapped off on the driver side and its been like that for 1.5 years now. was going around a round about then heard a massive snap under.. main thing i wanna do -in order or priority- is sway bar, change to lowered spring, front brakes, spark plugs (atleast help with the rear bank - i can do the front at home) ... i can change the tranny oil myself at home. i was also planning on doing the droplinks but ran out of finances so ill do that later when my tax comes in.

The sway bar itself or just the mounts?
I had a mount snap on my magna, which is a much more fiddly part, do you also have the metal brackets?

Yeah the bar itself snapped... i've got a second hand bar for now..

Sounds like we may just have to do the swaybar then. Do you have droplinks for it? Because you need them to connect it.

And I think I got confused by some chingrish in there "change suspension spring".... I thought it was only 1. Doing all 4 is about 2 hours worth of work...

Can u do mine too? :D

Might try and pull em out tonight. Not sure what time I'll get there though... family...

Also do you need the spark plug spanner back yet or are you OK if I hang onto it for a month or so. I'll look at getting the engine out and start the freshen up towards the end of the month.

I've got the old droplinks for now...

If we ran out of time then ben you can just guide me on how to take the springs out.

My main concern are the sway bar and spark plugs

FYI

pretty straight forward, just a time sucker of a job.

Rears are easy to do, fronts are a bit more involved.

Yep I can do yours as well :D
And I think we will need the spark plug spaner, if you could bring that with you it would be great.
After that yep you can hang onto it for a bit untill you find one or finish with it.

^^ Oh, by the way, since i would have my tappets adjusted, would the replacement of sparkplugs be easily done while the tappets are worked on ?

Can even do spark plugs without doing the tappets, spark plugs are a synch.
