Ok so im still on the way to the completion of my exhaust system.. what i have left to do now so far is the cat and extractors. I am getting one of them next week.

Now tell me, from those two, which one am i going to feel the most unlocked kw's ? (i think i will feel more of a difference from a high flow cat, but it might not be the case).

the items i am looking at are :
Cat: Magnaflow metal high flow 200cp
Extractors: Hurricane/RPW headers with ceramic coating.

i have also decided to get them one at a time so i can feel each of the upgrade individually...

goddamnit  i'll think about it.. ill ask and see if it will actually have double labour cost.. if it does then yeah i'll do them both at once...

other than that, has anyone actually experienced the difference in power noticed between each of them ?

it won't be twice as much, just duplicating the work..

they might charge $250 for extractors & lump the cat into the cost, but then you might get charged $50-100 to install the CAT at a later point..

BTW - I have a 200 CPSI Metal Cat for sale $170 + postage

looking forward to what the car will feel like after this.
Hax from performance exhaust centre also said something about this being a 'true cat' , which i think he means it actually cleans the air, where other 200cp cats just cleans way less because of the wider spaces between cells, i dont know, someone enlighten me.

^^ true story, but hes done a good job on my catback and he even said that if its cheaper to get it done at livo exhaust, then do it there, or maybe thats a slight reverse psychology. lol?. that cat im talking about, is listed in bestmufflers.com for 245 i think.. but i can see he does a good job anyway and plenty people recommend him.

ok, so im now in the final stage of my exhaust mods - the extractors.
i remember calling liverpool exhaust and getting a quote of i think 1G or a bit more for the hpc'd hurricanes installed... i will be getting quotes from others too, but is that a good price? should i get the $700 downpipe from uas instead since the stock extractors are decent flowing ? or should i go full hurricanes with hpc ? the car barely tracks by the way, if any a track day it sees.

you need a pro

thats basically the same with any pc program e.g. music programs, all the adobe programs, etc

theres a reason there are sound engineers and graphic designers

average people cant do sh*t compared to what pros can do

Were the power gains noticeable from the cat?

^^ all aspects of improvements are minimal, eg sound&performance, i don't think i am using it's full potential since i still have my stock down pipes and extractors.

If you put on a supper high flow cat you will get a 10kw gain at the wheels top end
