I agree, even with factory ECU, these turbo's spool amazingly quick. I would be using the NOS for a top end hit, you should have full boost by ~2300 rpm or so.

How much boost you planning to run?

You are progressing very nicely mate, good to see.

Probably only about 12 pound on the street, but the beauty of that Haltech is that it gives me 'push button track day' seetings! Probably pound up to 14 or 15 for that :)

ok ben thank you for clearing that up for me man.
My dump pipe on the old manifold was on the drivers side. Are you saying you have to turn the turbo around so the dump pipe is on the passangers side

Nice one!

I was contemplating a new ECU for a while, especially with these fuel prices. It is another reason I was sticking with the tip box. In drive I would have a ~5k rev limit, factory boost and conservative fuel/ignition. Then knock the fucker into Tip mode and would have ~14 psi, 8k rev limit, and aggressive fuel and ignition.

Still contemplating that actually, because I reckon the fuel savings over a year or so would pay for the ECU and tuning. Keen as to see how you get on with yours.

Tell him its all happening at the Envy stables. Im sure he knows Herman & Brent :)

Heaps done today, will update later. Including a DIY on how to change your fuel pump. Also had the intake manifold & a number of other pipes sent off for sand blasting, HPC coating & then powder coating in that intake pipe blue colour :) And also mounting of thermo fans (that didn't want to fit) and FPR lines.

Where-abouts did you run the power cable from the boot to the engine bay?
And did you just use a distribution block for all the positive wires in the bay?

Looks awesome by the way.

Ran it inside the car. Through behind the back seat, then up along the side of the car. Pulled the kickplates off & pushed it down in there. Yeah, will be using a dist. board.

They're parallel, Never heard of Mits doing sequential.
Mazda, Porsche, Subaru and I believe Toyota go more for the sequential.
