Thats cool.

Like I said I'll stilll take a set.

If I dont like them when they come in at least I can use my stock seat covers as a pattern and get my gf's mum to make me some :)

Mine has worn right through on the drivers side!

They also mentioned something about metal wires to support the shape of the covers in the leather seats (which you take from the stock seats and put into the leather covers) I know these covers are heaps cheaper but do they use anything like this?

Ok, so if no silver (which I find amazing), I will revert back to black with blue stitching.

Cheers Gav - instant legend if you pull this off.

Ok got some good news and bad news.
We have found some one going to the philippenas on the 11th of dec, who is willing to bring back sets at a charge of $50 a set (which i think is great, considering they will all be baggage)
the bad news is they can only bring back 10 sets
so for $200 each i can have all the sets back in sydney, but this will have to be orgnaised very quickly, if we are going to have money and everything sorted out by the 11th. it would be possible to post the other 3 through feddex or something in the phillipeans but im not sure how much it will cost.
So how do you guys fell about this deal, and would you guys be able to pay up before the 9th of dec ?

I'm happy with that.

How long do the seats take to be made and when will the guy be bringing them back?

GAV,
How are they going to package the sets? individually or in a group?
I am happy to be in the first list, however, I have concerns about the packaging, as from Philipeans to Sydney then to Melbourne, fair bit of time these set will be in a package.

they will only be packaged for about 24hours from the philipeans to sydney. once i recieve the interstate seat covers, i will package them and send them, how you want them packed is up to you, i am sure i can organise next day delivery for those that want to pay for it too

Im happy to direct deposit money by the 9th to get in with the first set

but...

Is this person bringing them back trustworthy? Ill assume that you know them? If you vouch for them that's good enough...

If the person gets hit with taxes or extra luggage charges bringing them back in, is this covered in the $50?

Is it possible to get the drivers licence details of the person I will be depositing the money to?

Do you ahve any idea how big/heavy the covers will be when packaged?

Michael

PS - could I get my order (black covers) amended to red stiching instead of blue stiching?

It is adriano's Sister, I will scan my license and email to those concened, and ill see if adriano minds doing the same with his or his sisters license

thats why they are charging $50, for the extra luggage

Absolutly no idea, i have about the same information of these as you guys (whats posted in this thread) but as i find out more about these seats ill make sure to pass on that information

sure, i have made the changes,
but as of midnight tonight, no more changes can be made
because we want to get this order in as soon as possible, so its completed by the 7th of jan[/b]

GAV,
Direct deposit is perfect for me too.
Remember though, it takes 2 days for the funds to arrive to your account.
So if the dead line is the 9th, we should transfer the funds to your account no later than 7th of December.

Gav, I'm down for this. E-mail me your payment details and you will have the money in your bank.

However, I'll just get one set, in the begginin. The red, or if they don't have red, the burgandy one. (both with black outsides)

Also have you checked with the supplier that they can actually make that many during the time frame?

Can I get in the on the first set too please.

I'm happy to pay for it all in full rite now..

I'm in melbourne as well though, so I guess us melbournians, will try and work something out together.. but that can be discussed later.

Like I said, earlier, black on the sides, and white in the midle, would be great, and purple stiching. (if not, blue would also be good).
and some extra black material and a bit of white for the doors..

Thank you again so much... i will definintly not back out.

i spoke to the supplier yesterday arvo and she said she can get the 15 odd sets done in 2 weeks max...
i asked her to email me all colours available... and maybe take a picture of the colours as well...

ill try and get my sister to bring all orders coz she only promised to bring 20kilos worth.... she will organise initial deposit of 50%, liaising with the supplier regarding orders, checking items against orders, full payment upon pickup and packaging it up to sydney as normal baggage...

due to the nature of the group buy, FULL payment is necessary...
