Thanks

I just had play around with it again now, as it's finally pitch black.
They looks soo nice! Especially with the remote starter, as that turns them right on while the car is running, and it lights the front of the car up nicely
The plan is to get some matching HIDs, and matching halogens for the fog lights, and high beams too

6000K should match the halos nicely.

I'm going to compare it to Nick's HIDs, which are 8000K.
So I can then know which way to go

Just remember that the higher you go the less visibility you get. 4300k-6000k is optimum for visibility.

I've had a play with 8000K, as I said, Nick's FTO has them, but I do agree that they are reasonably dim, due to how blue they are...

For some reason, I stupidly decided to price up how much this bumper has cost me...
NZ$638 - Bumper itself
NZ$95 - To get it to NZ
NZ$82 - Fog Lights
NZ$134 - Indicators
NZ$840 - Fitting and painting
NZ$1789 - Total

I think it was all going well until the painting and fitting.

Standard price around here...
I went to at least a dozen shops, and they all quoted around the same price

Well, I was quoted $440 for a pair of skirts, so I guess maybe it's not as ridiculous as I first thought.
edit: could also be that it was just the one thing? Guy I talked to said once off things were more expensive cause of the set up costs etc.

It probably would be a little bit cheaper with more things...
Next time I would like to do both the side skirts and the rear bar at once, but that may be a while away yet.
Had to throw some cheap tyres on it today so there goes another $500...
I should tally up how much I have spent on it at some stage.

That's insane for paint pricing!! I had a front and rear bumper (Dstocks) done for $700!!
