lol
take lights out
bake to open
super glue lights in
drill a small hole to fit the wiring through
snip wires, fit through the above said hole
rejoin the wires.
bake lights to close it up
put lights back
tap wiring into which ever circurt u want the lights to run off
things u need:
super glue, or something else that sticks and takes about 100degrees of heat
drill
wire joining thingy
oven
and probably a couple metres of wiring (depending on which circurt u tap it into)
does it still look difficult now that i've broken it down?
i wont lie, it is time consuming lol

yeah, tap the wiring onto your parker lights
of course the problem with that is the angle eyes will always be on if your headlights are on.
lol richy, how many times have i said not to force it, and what did you do? lol

Yang got a couple of questions for ya,
1. What amp resistance does the additional wiring (if needed) need to be?
2. If the A.Es were wired up to a seperate switch what size fuse do you need and where is the best place to put it, on the positive or negative side?
3. Exactly how much wood COULD a woodchuck chuck?
My main concern is No. 3 !!!
cheers

1. dont know, it doesnt use much power at all, i think i'm using 2 or 3mm wiring, but if u still want to know, ask sam about it, cos i just stole some off his reel of wiring that he bought over lol
2. positive side i'd assume... thats where i put all fuses lol, and for what size fuse, i'm not sure, but u can work it out with a multimetre, just go 1 up on whatever the reading it. (while u r at it, let me know what u come up with lol)
3. it'd chuck as much wood as a woodchuck could if a woodchuck could chuck wood.
hope that answers all your questions especially No.3, hope now u can sleep easy tonight lol

Thanx for that
since posting my questions and reading about tapping into the parkers im thinking along the lines of doing the same, but at the same time putting a switch in the middle of the A.Es........ so that they come on with the parkers but if i get pulled up for them being on i just flick em off without loosing the headlights, this way i shouldnt have to worry about any additional fuses.
Now i need to cast my mind back to basic school science and see if i can remember the difference between series and parrallel!! LOL !!!

Can I tape it to the fog light switch?

Can I tape it to the fog light switch?
Dont see why not, just means that they come on with the fog lights
Tap into:
fog lights = come on with fog lights
head lights = come on with head lights
parkers = come on with parkers and head lights
indicators = funny

mine's tapped into the fog lights, least effort vs effective control ratio lol
and parrallel is:
Code: Select all
---:|:|:|----

------O------

_____O_______
serries is:
sry about the dodgy illistration lol

Cheers again,
Ive got it worked out in my head, just need the A.Es now LOL
Ive already got a multi switch panel in the cabin that ive hard wired too the back of the cigarette lighter for my rice accessories
(neons in the rear speaker mesh, and gps)
and ive got 2 spare switches left, so if the A.Es give out enough on 12V ill use one of the switches....... if not then the easy fog light install might be the way to go

I never use my foggies anyway... as such when ever the hell I get around to installing the damned things... foggies will be the way I go.
