Re: Bennoz 6A13 Conversion
Bit hard to compare mate, I had to put a whole new exhaust on it when I did the conversion. Existing piping was too small. Yes it sounds different, and having muffled tips its actually very quiet. The loudest noise I have to deal with is the 2 turbos at full spool. They make a racket.

Re: Bennoz 6A13 Conversion
Bennoz I forgot to ask before about the lightweight flywheel,
Was it different launching the car? Both in normal driving situations and drag racing.
And, was it harder to spin the wheels, or did the lightweight flywheel make it feel like the car had more traction?

Re: Bennoz 6A13 Conversion
My secret shame... I can do body work
This is a spare boot lid, gonna tac up the holes & give her a coat of red, see what the beast looks like spoilerless
Also got some other cool body stuff coming up. Especially seeing as I've run out of mechanical things to do

As my old man once said during a driving lesson "Treat the shifter like your cock son. If it feels like you're damaging it pushing it in, then you probably are..."Astron_Boy wrote:Hence why the gear changes are as smooth as honey.phi-tec wrote:dont know if anyoen else noticed, but on page 38 where bennoz has a photo of his gearbox, theres a bee on it oO

Re: Bennoz 6A13 Conversion
It was so long ago mate, I can barely remember. I don't seem to remember it making any difference on take off, once I got going & the rpms were up it did though.spetz wrote:Bennoz I forgot to ask before about the lightweight flywheel,

But for $300 odd bucks for the flywheel, how badly wrong can you go? I'll even put one in for ya for 3 cases of beer!
