Re: Brisbane May BBBQ
Just in case anyone else confused (like daniel
) ill spell it out
It comes in 4 litre bottles, we will assume the fto box will take a full 6 litres if flushed completely.
This means that me and someone else will need to purchase a 4 litre bottle each, then split an additional 4 litre bottle between us to get the required 6 litres.
They are 76 bucks each - i get 114 from 76+38 (1 and a half bottles of fluid)
I am not charging anything to do the change
Just incase people think so
This is also specific dexron 3 fully synth oil from castrol, so good sh*t
Be a good opportunity to do any other services on the car as well if you would usually take it to a mechanic. Very simple to do yourself, we can show you how and will cost 1/2 the price
Im tempted to buy a half dozen fuel filters and do them on the day as how many people have done them lately?
theyre like 20 bucks to change if that

Well, I'm officially coming to the BBQ. Just booked 3 nights at the Q1 on the goldy, so I'll have THE best day meeting all of you, then another 2 days to chill out with lovely oceans views

Yay indeed
I am sooo excited to meet other FTO owners. This whole car 'enthusiast' thing is new to me and I think I'm boring everyone to death with how much I talk about my car

I don't know about that! Before buying the FTO (which I'd never heard of until about Nov last year - I was going to get a Supra) I hadn't done anything either decorative or mechanical to a car before. I just keep saying to myself "f**k it, just go for it"KyzPride wrote:at least you have more knowledge about them than me...still learning lol![]()

Edited to add ... this forum has been THE most invaluable source of information. If it wasn't for everyone here I don't think my experience so far would have been even half as good.

I was the same too...never even knew what an fto was til earlier this year...And in regards to this forum, not only has the information been good but the laughs I've had over threads have made my joining so worth itXenaP wrote:I don't know about that! The fact that I seem to be able to get replacement parts from Taz in case I stuff it up helps with the confidence
