Yeah, I was lucky with Dwayne having a spare... now installed

Just had a good look at the car.

Steering rack needs a look at (runbbers are all fucked) and rear engine mount is cactus. So will start with fixing those and see where it takes me..

I wish my wife was this dirty..







So yeah, bonnet prep begins. Hope to finish tomorrow, but will see how it goes.. Also got the rear speakers wired up..

Got Carbon Demon.. Was telling him about how I hated the bonnet on Sat morning.. So he booked me in for Sunday.. Lol

Mike use to work with me at Amex, and we were eating at his wifes family restaurant for 8 years before we realized.. Only reason we found out about him was the restaurant didn't take Amex as payment, then we started talking to his wife about it, and filled in the gaps from there. Hadn't seen him for years... Small world..

I loved the job they did on her Mini too..

Should give you our FTO, we want the entire thing wrapped. lol.

I was chatting about doing this car.. Will be cheaper to re-spray. You have to make sure the body is 100% straight.. All scratches filled etc. Otherwise u see it in the wrap. I can see a couple of dents in the bonnet that were not noticable in the blue..

I think that will do me now until I re-spray.. I keep telling myself this is not neant to be a project car.. so have to hold back.. lol

Rear engine mount, and steering rack mounts... Hopefully that is it...

I am tossing up if I go down the path of getting an old set of suspension of Dwayne at bonfire, then chuck in new shocks and springs...

Although the suspension is not too stiff, teh wife prefers a softer and more luxury car smooth ride...
