Cool, can't wait for this either, last holiday was in January!
Craig, are you still ok to leave Sydney on Friday? Want to head off before or after peak hour? I'm thinking after but up to you.
Simon, what time you guys planning on getting there? I think there will be more NSW than QLD this time

Lets head off about 10 am then. That'll get us to Coffs around 4 or 5.
If you're coming alone, you've paid for 2 people, maybe mr-charisma and you can share? What do you think guys?

Nah, Don't have your number. Can you PM me?
As for the room, I think it's $50 pppn based on 2 people.
I live in Burwood and would drive towards Hornsby and jump on the F1 there. Do you want to meet there?
mr-carisma, do you know where we are staying? Try and give them a call and arrange something at the same place for yourself or I can call them if you like?

Well, what can I say?
I made it back in 1 piece and no tickets. I did see 2 people get pulled over and the weather conditions on the way home were appalling but never the less I had a great drive there and back!
Friday I met with Rock It (Craig)and we headed down to Coffs and got there at about 6pm. I8AFRE (Simon) was already there and had the beers in the fridge already, good lad.
We soon met with Mr-carisma (Michael) and Coffs FTO (Todd) and had a few drinks while admiring each others cars then headed to the local pub for a bite too eat. After that we grabbed another case of beer and head back to Michaels hotel for a few games of poker.
Saturday the weather was great so we went to the Pet Porpoise Pool and played with the dolphins, penguins, turtles and sharks. Craig and I even get to take part in the show! We then took out some jet skis for a blast. It was awesome fun

I can't remember who got the fastest but I got it up to about 71, I think Simon got 80 and I'm not sure what Craig got. 1 things for sure, Mrs AJ is a hoon on open water! Luckily I was a bit more prepared this year and didn't end up landing on my balls

.
After a quick sh*t, shower and shave, we headed out for dinner. We went to a pub/night club in town. The place was dead, and I mean DEAD. No one in there but us. We were out numbered by the staff, but the service was great, and a meal with a beer was $9.90 you can't really argue. We had a game of pool after that on the worst table in the world and decided that we'd have more fun back at the hotel so went back and got the cards out again and sank a few more beers and bourbons.
Sunday was another really hot day. We took the girls to the market to have a look around the gypsy stalls then headed to the Big Banana. We took a few snaps on Mrs I8A4FR's camera before taking a few rides on the toboggan run. We then took a drive out to the water park and spent about 10 minutes riding slides before deciding it was too much hard work and hit the beers again.
All weekend we had preyed for a bit of rain so that we could reenact our go kart drifting from last years Coffs trip, Monday morning did not let us down. There was a huge down poor that just didn't let up. We started driving towards the track but phone calls to it went unanswered and the rain was biblical. It was at this point that we decided that it wasn't going to happen. Craig had already set off back to Sydney and was making good progress. Simon and I said our goodbyes and took off in different directions.
I'd had a brilliant time and hope everyone else did too. Cheers all for a memorable time and I look forward to next years trip. (sorry, no wedgie shots!)

Yeah that was wicked mate, me and the misses had a ball. Must say the jet skiing was pretty god dam wild.
Our drive was pretty good as soon as we got ahead of the weather. Glad everyone got home safe and sound.
Shave my ass - Is Seth Macfarlane's "Cavalcade of Comedy", a must see for anybody who loves family guy.

Was great fun... Had a blast... Gotta watch a sh*t load of movies for next year..
Fastest I got the jet ski was about 75.. 65 was the highest I got while going over a wave.. Got me good air time.. Lol...
Got home by 2:30, so was a good drive... A little scared in parts due to the amount of water on the road.... But got here fine....
