I'll give it a go this weekend and tell you after. I have never changed anything in the car, always take it to the mechanic. So if I can do it you sure can.sublime19 wrote:oo nice.. and is it easy to put in? or if im a noob with working on things myself, is it recommended for me to get it done by somebody else

well i have fixed a filter together with intake into my car myself last few weeks ago. Costs me 100 bucks, and it looks cool too...
it is easy, dont worry.. if you played lego before, you will sure know how to do it.. if you know how to turn a tap on and turn it close back without water leaking continuously, you will know hot to replace it

Yep that shield is a home made job. Takes around 15mins, few members had follow the same path since then
I got the idea from a RX7 drag car that does 8 second 1/4 miles.

Here it is boys ....

I took the second after I finish with the makeshift airbox using the reflective windscreen protector but you get the jiff of it.
The black ring that came with the kit to fit over the TB was a bit too small so i had to thin the inner lining a little. All n all, it was a good job all round.
The sound it makes when it hit's mivec, awsome !!!!!!!
