its easy to get spots in the smaller rallys for photos cos there hardly any people...
plus the day was kinda overcast with rain after that stage

Hi .. Sorry .. Probably a pretty stupid question.

How can you tell it's a Version R? - Just from the spoiler?

Ahh .. Cool. I just thought there was a sure way of telling from your photo. Mine looks exactly the same - Apart from the stickers and the colour, but is a GPX.

Thanks anyway dude.

but i think there is a way to differentiate between GPX and GPvR... other than the spoiler i mean... are both cars of the same height? same body kit??

well two weeks ago i went to a shop (somato) and once the guy inside saw my car, he turned to me and ask, its a 1995 fto right? i said yeah, it is... and i am so surprised how he can tell by just looking at the exterior... and also i have a pre-lift front bumper which mimics a little bit of later version.. but he can still get it right... so, anybody knows how we can tell by just looking at the exterior?

i imported a 98 GX Sports Aero Series - looks like a GPvR - i think the give away is the GX sticker on the back :)

pre-lift bumpers only went up to about 95/96 i think?

dont know what the pre-lift aero series looks like though.. that might look a bit later-model...and still be 95/96
